Organic Group Farming (OGG/ICS) Project Development:
Grower Groups are organized group of farmers who intend to produce organic products in accordance with the National Standards of Organic Production (NSOP). The grower group are based on the Internal Control System (ICS) in geographical proximity with minimum 25 and maximum 500 individual marginal farmers, ideally with a land holding not more than or equal to 4 ha (10 acres).
We provide complete package of services for development, implementation, management and certification of Organic Group Farming Project (OGG/ICS) which includes assistance in complete implementation of Group Farming Certification Project starting from development & implementation of project to till the receipt of Certification. The service includes:
- Project Evaluation
- Develop and Update Organic System Plan (OSP)
- Farmer & Staff Selection
- Application & Registration Procedure
- Staff Assistance (Internal Inspectors, Extension Officers)
- Application, Contract and Risk Assessment of Selected Farmers
- Formation of ICS & preparing ICS Manual
- Organizing Farmers & Staff Training and maintaining Trading Records
- Conducting Internal Inspection of all farmers & its record maintenance (Inspection Reports of all farmers, Internal Inspections Summary, Annual Internal Inspection Report)
- Preparing Farmer related documents (Farm Dairy, Farm Map, etc) & its verification through-out the year
- Preparation, Maintenance and Management of all project documents through-out the year
- Handling External Audits
- NC Closure; Resolving Minor & Major Non-compliances
- Continuous follow ups with Farmers and ICS Staff
- Complete Maintenance of Tracenet Data of all farmers through-out the year including Project Entry, Crop Entry, Farm & Farmers Entry, Update of Internal Audits, Update Actual Yield, Update of Procurement, TC Application, etc
- Post-Certification Services
- Any Additional or Un-Announced Audit Handling if planned
